No prior experience is required for our Certified Hairdresser (Beginner Level) program. For our Specialist Program (Upgrade Level) and Advanced & Editorial Styling (Premium Level), basic salon floor experience or junior styling skills are recommended. Our team will help assess the right level for you.

Students must be at least 17 years old to enroll in any program. For students under 18, a parental consent form is required at the time of admission.

We strictly cap all batches at 10–12 students. This is central to our teaching philosophy — every student receives direct attention, hands-on feedback, and personalised guidance throughout the program.

We offer 3 signature programs: Certified Hairdresser (Beginner Level), Specialist Program (Upgrade Level), and Advanced & Editorial Styling (Premium Level). Full details and syllabi for each are available on our Programs page.

Our programs are predominantly hands-on — we typically run a 70% practical / 30% theory split. From day one, students work on mannequin heads and live models in our fully equipped studio. Theory modules cover colour science, anatomy of hair, client consultation, and salon business skills.

Yes. Our curriculum is reviewed every season by our faculty and industry partners. We ensure that techniques like balayage, foilyage, and skin-fade barbering reflect current salon demand, not outdated textbooks.

Course fees vary by program and duration. Please contact our admissions team for the current fee structure. We believe in complete transparency — there are no hidden fees. All materials and kit are included in the course fee unless stated otherwise.

Yes. We offer a flexible installment plan — typically a 50% advance at enrollment with the balance due before the course begins. Customised payment plans may be available for longer programs. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Cancellations made 14 or more days before the batch start date are eligible for a 75% refund. Cancellations within 7–13 days receive a 50% refund. No refund is available for cancellations within 6 days of course commencement. Deferral to a future batch is available in most cases.

Classes run Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This full-day format ensures maximum hands-on learning and practical studio practice.

The hands-on nature of our programs means they are primarily in-person. However, some theory modules and supplementary masterclasses are available online for enrolled students via our student portal. We do not currently offer fully online certifications.

Yes. Our placement cell works closely with our network of salon partners. Graduates receive resume guidance, interview preparation, and direct referrals to support their launch into the industry.

Absolutely. Our Salon Essentials and Advanced programs include dedicated modules on business planning, staff management, pricing, and client acquisition — specifically designed for aspiring salon owners. Many of our graduates now run successful independent salons.

Yes. MovingEdge Academy certificates are widely recognised by salons and groups across India and internationally. Our Advanced Diploma programs are aligned with BTEC professional standards. Certificates are issued upon successful completion of both practical assessments and theory modules.

Certificates are typically issued within 7–10 working days of completing your final assessment. You will receive both a physical certificate and a digital verified copy that can be shared with employers or on LinkedIn.
